The 'Sweet/Vicious' actor is set to play a young version of George Lucas, the creator of 'Star Wars' and 'Indiana Jones'.

AceShowbiz - The worlds of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" and "Star Wars" may collide on The CW's series. The DC superhero series will feature young George Lucas in the ninth episode of its second season, with "Grimm" actor Matt Angel having been tapped to play the creator of "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones".

The recently released trailer for the midseason premiere revealed that Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) is alive and working as a movie director in 1967, which was the time when Lucas began slipping away from school.

"Because of circumstances, the time aberration in episode 209 is George Lucas quits film school," executive producer Marc Guggenheim tells Entertainment Weekly. "As a result, he never makes 'Star Wars' or 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'," he says.

Guggenheim adds, "As a result, Ray (Brandon Routh), who became an engineer because of 'Star Wars', and Nate (Nick Zano), who became a historian because of 'Raiders', slowly start to lose their brilliance, because those things that inspired them to become who they are didn't exist."

"We were watching a cut of it and I said to Greg [Berlanti] that 209 is either going to be the episode where we'll say that the show found a new gear in terms of how zany it can be, or it's the episode that's going to get us all fired," he says. "It really is. You're laughing out loud, I think with it, but it's like, 'Are we really doing this?' It's the 70's bar fight on steroids. The whole episode is that level of crazy," he adds.

The ninth episode of "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2, titled "Raiders of the Lost Art", will air on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 9 P.M. ET on The CW.
