AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes rang in her birthday with a brief trip to Mexico with her rumored boyfriend Jamie Foxx. A few days before she turned 38 on Sunday, December 18, the "Dawson's Creek" alum and her actor beau reportedly had a romantic getaway to Cabo San Lucas without her daughter Suri.
According to Us Weekly, Holmes and Foxx secretly jetted off to the country on Friday. "Katie and Jamie took a private jet to Cabo on Friday morning from Van Nuys Airport [in Los Angeles]," an insider tells the news outlet. "It was a quick trip in honor of Katie's birthday. It was only them and two pilots on the plane."
Once they're in the country, the two took a limousine to the celeb-loved Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort. "They stayed in one of the most private suites at the hotel, separate from other guests and entered by a small path," the source continues. "They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler."
The pair left Cabo and flew back to Los Angeles on Saturday night so she could spend Sunday with her daughter Suri. That day, she shared on Instagram a couple of rare photos of her celebrating her big day with her 10-year-old girl.
"Birthday vibes!" Holmes wrote alongside one snap. She also took time to thank her fans for their well wishes. "Thank you for the birthday love I really appreciate it !!!!!!!!" she captioned a black-and-white snap of party hats on a table.
Holmes and Foxx have been rumored being an item for quite some time now. Though none of them has confirmed their relationship, they reportedly had a brief split back in October because of her desire to make their romance public.
