AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon has responded to comments from Dane Cook, who was making fun of his choice of outfit at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Paris, France last week. The ex-husband of Mariah Carey wore a pink turban at the star-studded show.
The "America's Got Talent" host posted a black-and-white collage of himself wearing various turbans on four separate occasions. "Yo @DaneCook call me so I can explain this Muthaf**kin King Business to you!! #MoorishMindset #SikhLife #ReconditioningOurCommunities," he captioned his Instagram post on December 7.
Later, he posted a quote which read, "Humble enough to know that I am not better than anybody and wise enough to know that I'm different from the rest."
Cannon defended his style after Cook shared on his Instagram a picture of the actor wearing a matching turban, lips and tie, calling Cannon's style "horrific." Cook also wrote that he's frustrated because of that and it made him want to quit the social media.
The actor has been wearing the headpiece for years. Back in November, he told PEOPLE about the reason why he wore the headpiece, which is more than just fashion style for him.
Cannon said, "I wanna represent my inner king, and to do it in a fly way. It's a great conversation piece but it also allows me to express that spiritual side... I have a good time with it, but it actually does mean a lot to me."
