The 'Maleficent' actress wants her six children to remain close to their father after the estranged couple reached temporary custody agreement.

AceShowbiz - Angelina Jolie is house-hunting in Los Angeles as she wants her six children to remain close to their father Brad Pitt. Angie has been granted physical custody of her kids after the estranged couple reached a temporary custody agreement on December 2.

"She's currently looking into buying a new house in L.A. so the kids can remain close to their father," a source tells Us Weekly. Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 have been staying with Angie in a rented California home since their parents' divorce.

TMZ previously reported that Angie wanted to move to London with her kids and "score a top position in the United Nations." The "Maleficent" actress' "ultimate goal" was reportedly to become Secretary General of the U.N.

According to sources, Angie's move to involve DCFS in her divorce battle against Brad "was orchestrated by 2 women she's been relying on for advice for more than a year. One is a member of England's House of Lords, and the other also holds a U.K. government position. We're told they've been in Angelina's ear, convincing her she could become Secretary General of the U.N. if she plays her cards right."

A rep for Angie has denied there's a London move planned and that the actress is focused on the health and well being of her children and she wants to continue therapy with the kids and Brad.
