AceShowbiz - Shannen Doherty is still "fighting like a girl" in her battle against breast cancer. The 45-year-old actress posted a picture on her Instagram page on Monday, November 28, to continue documenting her journey.

Doherty showed off her beautiful bald head right when she's about to start her "frightening" radiation treatment. "First day of radiation treatment. I look like I'm about to make a run for it which is accurate," she captioned her post.

"Radiation is frightening to me. Something about not being able to see the laser, see the treatment and having this machine moving around you just scares me," she explained. "I'm sure I'll get used to it but right now.... I hate it," she shared.

Doherty revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in 2015 in a lawsuit against her former management team. The actress claimed that a mastectomy and chemotherapy treatment could have been avoided if the firm hadn't failed to pay her medical insurance coverage for the year 2014.
