'The Voice' Recap: Watch Memorable Performances From the Top 10
TV

Christian Cuevas delivers an emotional rendition of 'Million Reasons', and Ali Caldwell closes out the night with an unforgettable performance of 'Without You'.

AceShowbiz - Getting closer to the end of "The Voice" season 11, the Top 10 returned on the stage on Monday night, November 28. They performed to win the hearts of voters, trying to dodge double eliminations and score a spot in semifinals.

Billy Gilman of Team Adam Levine kicked off the night with his take on Martina McBride's "Anyway". Martina has a special place in Billy's heart because he got his first record deal as a young country singer after Martina heard him sing her song. Despite his connection to the song, it wasn't Billy's most memorable performance, but Blake Shelton was happy to see him go back to his country roots.

Courtney Harrell of Team Blake took the stage next with "If I Could Turn Back Time" by Cher. Courtney has huge vocals, but still couldn't match the original version. Alicia Keys praised her anyway, saying, "That voice comes out of you in a way that's just relentless. I love the way that you take the expected and turn it on its head." Blake loved her "stage presence."

Josh Gallagher of Team Adam was up next, singing "Real Good Man" by Tim McGraw. Back to doing what he does best by singing a gritty country track, Josh showed who he is as an artist. "Tonight, a country star was on that stage doing that," Adam said. Alicia added, "I just felt like you were really in your element."

Aaron Gibson of Team Miley Cyrus tried to soar from the bottom two last week with "Rocket Man" by Elton John. He gave one of his best performances, but it's still not memorable. It didn't help that Aaron looked nervous. Still, Miley gave him a supportive comment, "You don't need glitter and glam. What you need is your guitar and your voice."

Christian Cuevas of Team Alicia opted to go with Lady GaGa's "Million Reasons". He made the song his own by following Alicia's advice about how to shape the vocals and delivered an emotional performance. "We've been waiting for that incredible moment, and I think you may have just had it," Blake commented.

Blake's protege Austin Allsup chose "Missing You" by John Waite as the coach wanted Austin to show his softer side. As the result, Miley was moved to tears by Austin's emotional performance. "I really believed you, and it was really powerful," she said.

Team Alicia's We McDonald sang "God Bless the Child" and Alicia's idea for her performance really made it unforgettable. Finding out that We had been trained in opera, Alicia encouraged We to sing part of the song in an operatic fashion. We nailed the last high note and brought down the house with the powerful performance.

Brendan Fletcher of Team Adam sang "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper with a stripped-down arrangement. Brendan's voice was all over the place, but Adam was proud of Brendan for taking the risk and stepping out of his comfort zone.

Another country singer on Team Blake, Sundance Head did some bluegrass with "Me and Jesus" by Tom T. Hall. It was an upbeat and fun performance, but his vocals are not among the best in the competition.

Rounding out the performances was Ali Caldwell's rendition of "Without You" by Harry Nilsson. Her coach Miley said this performance would show what kind of music Ali would sing if she won the competition. It was a great way to close out the night as she got standing ovations from all four coaches. "My new goal in my life is just to make you the biggest star in the world," Miley declared.
