AceShowbiz - Madonna spent Thanksgiving with homeless LGBT teenagers at Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn. The "Rebel Heart" hitmaker brought along her two adopted children David and Mercy, as seen in a picture she shared on Instagram on Friday, November 25.
In the photo, Madonna, David and Mercy posed along with the teenagers from Ali Forney Center. "Had so much fun sharing Thanksgiving at the Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn! This center protects LGBT Youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them to reclaim their lives," the "Like a Virgin" singer wrote.
"Each year the Ali Forney Center provides care for over 1,200 youth who are rejected by their family due to their LGBT identity. AFC provides these youth with tools they need to become independent and more importantly, AFC provides these youth with the love and support they are denied by their families," she continued, "Because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home."
Although Madonna's other kids Rocco and Lourdes did not join the celebration, the 58-year-old singer showed her love for them in a sweet throwback photo posted on Thursday. "Reasons to Be Thankful!" she captioned it.
Madonna previously said that she planned to stick by Rocco after news of his September drugs bust became public. "I love my son very much," she told The Associated Press, "I will do whatever I can to give him the support that he needs, and I ask that you respect our privacy at this time."
