The last episode of the first half of the AMC post-apocalyptic series' seventh season will run for 85 minutes.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" midseason finale will get extended run time, it has been confirmed. According to the programming schedule, the last episode in the first half of season 7, which is titled "Hearts Still Beating", will run an extra 25 minutes.
However, episode 8 won't be the only extended episode out of the three remaining episodes from season 7's first half. Episode 6, which is titled "Swear", will run an additional 10 minutes and episode 7, which is titled "Sing Me a Song", is set to run 90 minutes straight until 10:30 P.M. ET.
Extended episodes are becoming more of an expectation than a surprise with "The Walking Dead" this season. Showrunner Scott Gimple says of the extended episodes, "We sneakily tell you the week before. Yes, there are, here and there. We've had an opportunity to do that and that's been really exciting. There's a lot of story to tell and there's a lot of characters to serve. I feel really really lucky we're able to give the audience even more story."
The synopsis for the next episode titled "Swear" reads, "Away from all the tragedy caused by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his saviors, Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Heath (Corey Hawkins) run into trouble after crossing paths with a mysterious new group."
"The Walking Dead" season 7 airs on Sundays at 9 P.M. ET on AMC.
