The 'Happy' hitmaker taps Houston gospel star Kim Burrell for the soulful new song 'I See a Victory' from the upcoming movie 'Hidden Figures'.

AceShowbiz - Pharrell Williams teams up with gospel star Kim Burrell on the fourth song off the "Hidden Figures" soundtrack, "I See a Victory". Pharrell premiered the song at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday, November 19. The new track arrived online on Tuesday, November 22 along with its lyric video which features scenes from the movie and a pile of visual effects.

"I See a Victory" is an uplifting and soulful song. Unlike the previous three songs from the original soundtrack album, this song doesn't feature Pharrell on vocals. The "Happy" hitmaker only contributes his neo-disco sound to the track. Instead, the song only features Burrell's jazzy voice. She shows off her astonishing vocals while belting out the song alongside the backup choir.

"They'll call it a mystery/ But we're gonna call it victory/ We'll be writing history/ It's gon' be victory," Burrell sings with her powerful voice. "So I tallied all my losses/ And I turned them into lessons/ And what seemed to be less/ I turned them into blessings."

Prior to "I See a Victory", Pharrell had released "Runnin' ", "Surrender" and "Crave". The "Hidden Figures" soundtrack also features contribution from Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Janelle Monae. The album is due out on December 9 through Columbia. It can be pre-ordered on iTunes.
