AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez and Niall Horan shared a warm hug at the 2016 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 20. The "Hands to Myself" hitmaker and the "This Town" singer greeted each other during a commercial break of the televised awards.
Niall approached Selena while he was heading back to his seat from backstage. They were all smiles as they embraced cheek to cheek. The pair, who were first linked in December 2015, then went on chatting with other attendees. He told her, "You did so good!" At one point, the "Good for You" songstress put her hand on Niall's chest.

Selena accepted Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist Award at the 2016 AMAs. During her acceptance speech, she opened up about her personal struggle prior to her post-rehab comeback. "Thank you guys so much. In 2014, this stage was actually the first time I was authentically, 100-percent honest with all of you," Selena said, "I think it's safe to say that most of you know a lot of my life-whether I liked it or not-and I had to stop. Cause I had everything, and I was absolutely broken inside."
She added, "I kept all together enough to where I would never let you down but I kept it too much together to where I wore myself down. I'm not trying to get validation and I don't need it any more. I don't want to see your bodies on Instagram, I want to see what's in here. If you are broken you do not have to stay broken. Thank you so much to my fans, you're so damn loyal and I don't know what I did to deserve you. Thank you so much for this."
Niall later took to Twitter to show his love for Selena. "Just watching the show back from last night . Really great show. Loved it. Love to Selena for the speech , brave young woman," he posted.
