Green Lantern May Appear in 'Justice League'

A member of the Green Lantern Corps is said to appear in the DC superhero team-up flick 'in a key sequence.'

AceShowbiz - "Justice League" may feature another powerful superhero to aid Ben Affleck's The Batman. In a new report published by TheWrap, "a member of the Green Lantern Corps" will make an appearance "in a key sequence" in the upcoming movie.

No additional information is provided by the site. Therefore, it's unclear which Green Lantern is going to be featured in the flick, as it's already known that there are so many Emerald Knights in the comic book series, including Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Kyle Rayner among others.

"Justice League" follows Affleck's Caped Crusader who enlists the help of his newfound ally, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, to face an even greater enemy after he is fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's [Henry Cavill] selfless act. Together, they work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.

Set to hit U.S. theaters on November 17, 2017, the upcoming DC movie also sees the return of Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Joining the cast are J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard and Kiersey Clemons, who will play Gordon, Vulko, Mera and Iris West respectively.
