The '30 Rock' alum will return as Donald Trump on the NBC sketch series after taking a post-election-episode break last week.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin ("The Cooler", "The Aviator", "The Departed") is taking the role of Donald Trump again this weekend. The 58-year-old actor will return to "Saturday Night Live", after being absent in the first post-election episode last week.

At a gala on Thursday evening, November 17, Baldwin told Vanity Fair that he's going to appear on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend. He has appeared as Trump five times on the show this season.

"I'm going to do it again this weekend, but not all that often. There was a lot of things online that was said about it, like 'why didn't I do it after the election?' I was booked that weekend," he said. "Not even other jobs. We have things to do. It crashes every weekend."

Baldwin's wife Hilaria Thomas added, "When he does 'Saturday Night Live', it takes a big chunk out of it because you're up so late, and then it eats into the next day. And for us, with little kids, it's hard."

In the previous episode of "Saturday Night Live", Kate McKinnon, who portrayed Hillary Clinton, carried the weight by herself with her moving cold open. As a tribute to the recently deceased Leonard Cohen and the death of Clinton's campaign, McKinnon sang a rendition of the late Cohen's hit "Hallelujah", which reflected how viewers were feeling about the campaign.

"Saturday Night Live" airs every Saturday at 11:30/10:30c on NBC. This week's episode is hosted by Kristen Wiig.
