The New Edition singer is now urging the District Attorney's Office to begin Gordon's criminal prosecution pertaining to his late daughter's death.

AceShowbiz - Bobby Brown responds to his family's victory in a legal battle against his late daughter's boyfriend Nick Gordon. The singer is "pleased" after Gordon was ordered by a judge to pay the family $36 million in Bobbi Kristina Brown wrongful death lawsuit.

"I am pleased with the outcome of today's court proceedings. I do know that Mr. Gordon will be unable to slander my daughter's name in the future or obtain any benefits from the use of Krissy's name," the New Edition star says in a statement.

"Finally, I do need for the District Attorney's Office to step up and begin the criminal prosecution of Mr. Gordon. The delay in that matter is of great concern to me and my family. We need for District Attorney Howard to act now," he continues.

Thank you all for your support. NOW is the time for District Attorney Howard to act!! #JusticeforBobbiKristina
