AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea was crowned Woman of the Year at the 2016 GQ Australia Men of the Year Awards on Wednesday, November 16. During her acceptance speech, the "Pretty Girls" rapper celebrated her body instead of her award.
"Thank you so much. I didn't realize everyone was going to have such hilarious speeches and I didn't prepare anything this week," Iggy told the crowd, "I just want to give a big thank you to GQ for this award. I've won a lot of awards over the last few years, but this one means the absolute most to me because I can finally say I have an award winning vagina. Thank you."
"This is amazing to me; I've got the best vagina in the world," she added, "How do you say no to that...you don't."
Iggy went topless under an open blazer when attending the GQ Awards. She donned straight hair extensions, some gold accessories and pointy heels.
The NSFW speech was a private joke she made during an interview for GQ Australia's latest issue. "I'm excited [about my award]. I like to call it 'Vagina of the Year' though. I don't know why it cracks me up, I just think it's funny to reduce myself down to a vagina sometimes," she told the mag.
She added, " 'Vagina of the Year' is a big achievement, number one Australian p***y. People won't get the joke, but it's funny because [in the media] women are reduced to vaginas. Some days I'm a vagina, others I'm a human."
