Donald Trump and Family to Appear on '60 Minutes' for First Post-Election Interview

Trump will sit down with Lesley Stahl on Friday in his Manhattan residence for his first interview since his surprising victory at the Tuesday presidential election.

AceShowbiz - "60 Minutes" scores first interview with president-elect Donald Trump. The 70-year-old businessman-turned-politician has agreed to sit down with Lesley Stahl for his first proper interview since his surprising presidential victory.

The interview will be taped on Friday, November 11 in his residence on Fifth Avenue in New York City. His family members, including wife Melania, children Ivanka, Eric, Donald Jr and Tiffany, are expected to appear during the interview as well.

The interview will air Sunday, November 13 at 7 P.M. ET. The show previously also scored first post-election interview with President Barack Obama after both of his election victories.

Trump recently met with President Obama in the White House. Obama offered Trump some words of encouragement during the Tuesday meeting, "Most of all, I want to emphasize to you, Mr. President-elect, that we now are going to want to do everything we can to help you succeed because if you succeed, the country succeeds."

Trump also said after the meeting, "We really - we discussed a lot of different situations, some wonderful and some difficulties. I very much look forward to dealing with the President in the future, including counsel. He explained some of the difficulties, some of the high-flying assets and some of the really great things that have been achieved."
