The trailer for Damien Chazelle's upcoming musical sees Gosling as jazz pianist Sebastian and Stone as aspiring actress Mia, who 'keep running into each other' as they pursue their dreams.

AceShowbiz - The first full trailer for this year's "most dazzling" movie "La La Land" has finally been unleashed by Lionsgate. It puts the focus on Ryan Gosling as a jazz pianist named Sebastian and Emma Stone as aspiring actress Mia, who "keep running into each other" as they pursue their big dreams.
"You could just write your own roles, you know," Sebastian tells her. "Write something that's as interesting as you are." Other scenes feature the couple kissing as well as dancing in front of a beautiful sunset and on a stage in L.A.
The trailer also gives fans an extended look at J.K. Simmons as Sebastian's boss, who fires him on Christmas, and John Legend's Keith, who is one of the pianist's musical acquaintances.
Written and directed by "Whiplash" filmmaker Damien Chazelle, the upcoming dramedy chronicles a romantic relationship between a dedicated jazz musician and an aspiring actress as they are exploring the joy and pain of pursuing their dreams.
Also starring Finn Wittrock, Tom Everett Scott, Meagen Fey and Rosemarie DeWitt, "La La Land" is due for limited release on December 9 before opening wide in U.S. theaters on December 16.
