AceShowbiz - The CMA is reposting photos of Beyonce Knowles and Dixie Chicks on social media following backlash. The organization previously deleted all photographic evidence of Queen Bey and the Chicks at the 2016 CMA Awards after it reportedly generated a lot of racist and hateful comments.
In a statement to E! News, the CMA denies deleting any mentions of Beyonce from their social media sites. "CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyonce's performance on the CMA Awards," it says, "In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a 5-second promotional clip from ABC.com and CMA's Facebook page."
"The promo was unapproved and CMA removed it prior to the broadcast. Beyonce's performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels," it adds.
On social media, the CMA reposts a photo shared by Beyonce and shares a picture of all performers at the awards event. But the Beyhive aren't happy with it. One fan posts, "Get on your knees and thank Queen Bey for those ratings because you'll never see those numbers again !!!" Another one posts, "Use bey for the ratings but no recognition..."
The CMA deleted any mentions of Beyonce after some fans were reportedly angry at the decision to let the "Single Ladies" hitmaker perform at the Wednesday show as she "hates cops, white people and supports BLM." One user tweeted, "Having Beyonce perform at the CMA Awards is like having Taylor Swift perform at the BET Awards."
Dixie Chicks responds to the alleged scrubbing on Twitter, writing, "If we all turn this up really loud, together we can drown out the hate."

Beyonce hasn't commented on the issue yet.
