AceShowbiz - Garth Brooks won Entertainer of the Year Award at the 2016 CMA Awards on Wednesday, November 2. The "Friends in Low Places" hitmaker beat out Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and last year's winner Luke Bryan.

Taylor Swift made her big return to the CMAs when she presented Garth with the Entertainer of the Year Award. Wearing a sheer black dress with a front slit, the "Shake It Off" hitmaker said, "Hi Nashville. It's been almost 13 years since I came to Nashville with a dream to be a songwriter and recording artist."

Carrie Underwood won Female Vocalist of the Year, while Chris Stapleton, who nabbed Music Video of the Year Award, was also honored with Male Vocalist of the Year Award.
Other winners included Eric Church (Album of the Year), Maren Morris (New Artist of the Year) and Little Big Town (Vocal Group of the Year).
