E! is reportedly freaking out that the 'We Belong Together' hitmaker's breakup may jeopardize the success of 'Mariah's World' because her wedding planning was supposed to be a key part of it.

AceShowbiz - Mariah Carey's split from James Packer is not only a major setback in her love life, but could also affect her professional life, particularly her upcoming E! reality series. Words are, the network worries that the end of romance between the singer and the Australian billionaire could jeopardize "Mariah's World".
While the docuseries primarily focuses on Carey and her "Sweet Sweet Fantasy" tour, the cameras also recorded the R&B diva's wedding plans to her then fiance. Now that the engagement is off, the network is reportedly "freaking out" because the key footage with Packer and the wedding plotline become "irrelevant."
According to Gossip Cop, the wedding planning was seen as a key part of the show's success. Carey's team, who was said to be banking on the show's being a success, is also "panicking" for the same reason.
The site further reports that "there's also concern that Packer could object to being featured on the show now, even though he already signed a release."
Reps for Carey and E! have not commented on the issue.
"Mariah's World", consisting of eight parts, is set to premiere Sunday, December 4 at 9 P.M.
