Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse as well as series creator I. Marlene King post heartbreaking messages as they wrap up production on series finale.

AceShowbiz - So long, Rosewood! The cast and crew of "Pretty Little Liars" bid farewell to the set as they wrapped up production on series finale on Wednesday, October 26. It was a bittersweet moment full of tears of happiness and sadness as documented in some Instagram pictures and posts shared by the stars.

Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Sasha Pieterse, Ian Harding, Keegan Allen, Janel Parrish and series creator I. Marlene King gathered for a group photo posted on the show's official Instagram account. "That's a #PrettyLittleLiars Series Finale wrap on production. A full heart. A happy heart... A sobbing heart. #PLLEndGame," read the caption.

King shared a similar picture and simply captioned it, "Tears and love." She wrote in another post, "Today marks the series wrap on 'Pretty Little Liars,' my home away from home for the last seven seasons. When I call 'cut' on the very last scene, all five #PLLs will be in the shot. Tears will be spilled, gifts will be exchanged, and final memories will be made. The most meaningful gift, however, is that we call ourselves 'PLL Family' because that is how much we mean to each other. We have created a worldwide family of fans who have come together to watch and celebrate the show. Friendships have been made and sealed over the love our passionate fans have for 'PLL.' "

She added, "In an age where technology often separates people, we used social media to bring them together. In season six, Spencer quoted A. A. Milne, author of 'Winnie the Pooh': 'How lucky I am to have something that makes saying good-bye so hard.' And those words have never spoken to me so loudly. Thank you to the cast, the crew, and all the fans who have kept Rosewood alive; we would be nowhere without you. And as this chapter ends, to my 'PLL' family all over the world, I won't say good-bye, I'll say, 'See you soon, b***hes.' "

They celebrated the series finale wrap with a four-tier cake with the words "later B***hes" written on a clapper put on the top.

Another post on the show's Instagram page paid tribute to the five Liar depicters, "To the girls that have forever changed our lives: thank you for giving us panic attacks every time we get a text from an unknown number, showing us what it means to have an unbreakable friendship, and making us fall in love with Rosewood - even though, let's be real, that town is crazy. That's a series wrap on production for #PrettyLittleLiars... We can't wait for you to see the final 10 episodes April 2017."

The stars also shared heartbreaking messages as they filmed the show for the last time. "When you get to your last day of work on @prettylittleliars and @halfadams writes you an email as Spencer... saying thank you and goodbye. I had no idea how hard this would be," Bellisario wrote along with a note written by Patrick J. Adams, who played Hardy on the show.

Bellisario went emotional in another post showing her waiting room. "I have kept so little in this room over the years, by Patti and Lo have been here through all of it. I guess I had hopes it would make it easy to pack up when the end came. Well, It took very little time but nothing about the packing was felt easy. Goodbye room (and my home for 7 years). Be good to the next girl. Whoever she is," she captioned the picture.

Benson shared a photo of her and her female co-stars goofing around. She wrote along with it, "Seven years later the day has come to say goodbye."
