'Toy Story 4' Release Date Delayed Again, 'The Incredibles 2' Moved Up

The release date of the fourth 'Toy Story' movie is pushed back to 2019, while the follow-up to 'The Incredibles' is moved up to summer 2018.

AceShowbiz - Disney and Pixar have changed release dates of two high-profile sequels. The Hollywood Reporter brings the words that the studios have swapped the release dates of "Toy Story 4" and "The Incredibles 2" due to an accelerated production schedule for the latter.

The release date of the fourth "Toy Story" movie, which is said to center on the love story between Woody and Bo Peep, has now been pushed back a year to June 21, 2019. Meanwhile the follow-up to "The Incredibles" is moved up from summer 2019 to June 15, 2018.

"The Incredibles 2" will once again be directed by Oscar-winning helmer Brad Bird, who is also attached to write the screenplay. No official casting has been announced. Rumor has it, Raymond Ochoa and Sarah Vowell will lend their voices to Dash Parr and Violet respectively.

As for "Toy Story 4", John Lasseter is back in the helmer's chair, with Rashida Jones and Will McCormack providing the script. Among the returning voice cast members are Tom Hanks, Annie Potts, Tim Allen, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Joan Cusack, Bonnie Hunt and Jeff Garlin.
