The Top 8 perform individual routines and team dances set to songs and themes from the 1920s to the '90s in Eras Night.

AceShowbiz - "Dancing with the Stars" got nostalgic in Eras Night. In the Monday, October 24 episode, Len Goodman was back on the judging panel and the eight remaining pairs danced to a song from the 1920s to the '90s. They also performed a team dance before one couple was eliminated.

Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy were the first to take the stage. They danced a 1960s quickstep set to a prom theme. It was hard for her since she never went to a prom. The dance was fast and bubbly, but Len said Laurie "rushed a little and you lost some of the technique." Carrie Ann Inaba didn't like that it started and ended with a lift. The Olympic gymnast earned 34 out of 40 points.

Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke danced a 1990s rumba to Aerosmith's "Don't Want to Miss a Thing". Ryan was supposed to be sensual, but he couldn't pull it off. Julianne Hough appreciated Ryan's effort, but stressed the need to master the techniques. Bruno Tonioli advised him to listen to the music, while Carrie Ann thought he's good with the acting. The Olympic swimmer earned 28 points.

Marilu Henner and Derek Hough danced a 1920s charleston. Bruno liked the beginning, but said that Marilu missed the ending. Carrie Ann thought she was too tense, but Len found it "fun," "entertaining" and "energetic." Marilu earned 29 points.

Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold danced a 1950s jive. The dance was fun which once again highlighted his best quality. The judges loved it with Carrie Ann saying it was "energetic" and "effortless." Len added that it was "polished and high-octane." The former NFL star earned 36 points.

Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev danced a 1980s tango. There were a few stumbles, but Julianne and Carrie Ann praised her attitude because she "kept it going" after the slip. Carrie Ann added some advice, saying Maureen should be a little closer with Artem when they're on hold. The actress earned 28 points.

Terra Jole and Sasha Farber danced a 1930s foxtrot. It was the right dance for Terra as Julianne commented, "You completely embodied the character." Carrie Ann called it "magical," while Len praised Sasha's "good job." She earned 34 points.

Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko danced a 1970s samba. Jane felt overwhelmed because she's on tour. Carrie Ann said Jana had problems with musicality, while Len didn't like it because it didn't have enough content. The country music star earned 34 points.

James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess danced a 1940s jitterbug, though Sharna injured her knee during rehearsal earlier this morning. Carrie Ann praised his acting. Len called him "a major contender in this competition," but said it looked like a little more jive than jitterbug. James earned 36 points.

For the team dances, James, Ryan, Calvin and Maureen were in Team Past. They danced a Viennese waltz to a Scottish folk song from the 1700s. "No one stood out because it was a perfect team dance," Len commented. Julianne agreed, adding that "it was executed beautifully." The dance was scored 38 which would be added to their points from individual routines.

Laurie, Jana, Terra and Marilu a.k.a. Team Future performed a routine set in an apocalyptic future. Julianne liked the concept, but noticed there were a few moments out of synch. Bruno agreed that "the synchronizing wasn't really there, but beautiful concept." Each of the pairs got additional 35 points.

After the individual and team dances, it's time to find out who's sent home this week. Jana, who topped the leaderboard last week, was surprisingly in jeopardy along with Maureen. But ultimately it was Maureen and her pro partner Artem who were sent packing, after landing in the bottom three two weeks in a row.
