Rihanna Regrets Skipping Drake's Party and Letting Taylor Swift Steal the Spotlight

RiRi is reportedly mad at Swift for taking 'all the attention away' because the Bajan beauty thinks she 'should have been the talk of Drake's party.'

AceShowbiz - Despite being one of the most special ladies in Drake's life, Rihanna was nowhere to be seen at his birthday party on Sunday, October 23. Instead, Taylor Swift stole the show as she attended the bash with her girl squad, got close with the birthday boy and was close to crossing paths with her nemesis Katy Perry as well as their mutual ex John Mayer.

Now, RiRi is reportedly regretting her decision to skip the event. Citing an insider, HollywoodLife.com claims that the Bajan beauty's "kicking herself for not attending Drake's party" because "she hated that Taylor was the main attraction."

"Everywhere she looked on social media today everyone's talking about Taylor and her outfit, her make up, her hair, and Rihanna's sick of hearing about it!" the source tells the publication. "As much as she has a love/hate relationship with Drake, she's furious that Taylor took all the attention away from his birthday."

"If there was any b***h who should have been the talk of Drake's party it should have been Rihanna. For that reason alone she's kicking herself for not going," the source adds.

However, HollywoodLife.com notes that Rihanna wasn't mad at Swift for getting close with Drake that night. "That's probably because they're just friends and Rihanna knows that TayTay isn't a threat, except in the battle for the spotlight," the site asserts.

Drake turned 30 on Sunday and celebrated it with a party at Delilah in Los Angeles. Swift came with Karlie Kloss and the Haim sisters, and was reportedly seen happily chatting with the "Hotline Bling" rapper in her booth. "[They] were intimately flirting, talking closely and laughing," an eyewitness told Page Six. "The only person he spent more time with other than his mom was Taylor."

The source also said that Swift and Perry were "put on opposite sides of the room and didn't even look at each other." The former country superstar also avoided Mayer, who appeared to be having fun with his other ex Perry.
