'The Walking Dead' Reveals Negan's Victim(s) With Brutal Twist
TV

The answer to the season 6 finale cliffhanger is finally revealed in the seventh season premiere, with a twist you would never imagine.

AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" season 7 premiere was highly anticipated and at the same time was the most dreaded moment for fans. The person(s) on the receiving end of Negan's baseball bat was revealed in "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be" which aired on Monday, October 23.

[SPOILER ALERT!] The person who was bludgeoned to death by Negan in the sixth season finale was Abraham Ford, a former military sergeant played by Michael Cudlitz. He joined the show in season 4.

Those who were relieved that it was not Glenn, who suffered the fate in the comic books, soon had to face the fact that no one is safe as long as Negan still rules. When Rosita couldn't look at the bat as Negan was tormenting her with Abraham's remains on his bat, Daryl leapt to her defense.

Daryl was close to meeting his demise as Dwight offered to put an arrow in Daryl's skull, but Negan said, "I need you to know me." He then struck Glenn with his bat. With his last breathe, Glenn turned to his wife and said, "Maggie, I'll find you." And with that we said goodbye to the beloved character, played by Steven Yeun since the first season.

All of these harrowing things were seen in flashbacks that Rick had when Negan told Rick to fetch his axe from a crowd of walkers. When Rick didn't immediately retrieve his axe, Negan reminded him about what happened, what could've happened and "what can still happen."
