Feige said that the 'Rick and Morty' creator gave his opinions on the sci-fi concepts of the movie when he was brought to contribute to the script for additional scenes.

AceShowbiz - It was reported back in August that Marvel brought "Monster House" and "Community" writer Dan Harmon to contribute to the script for additional scenes in "Doctor Strange". And now, the president of the studio, Kevin Feige, reveals details about Harmon's contribution to the upcoming film.
"We are all big fans of his work, clearly," Feige told Entertainment Weekly. "We're also fans of his cartoon 'Rick and Morty', which is about, of course, humor, but I would argue that any given episode of that show has an unbelievably amazing sci-fi concept that could be its own movie."
"So, really, we just wanted him to watch the movie, and talk to us about it, and give us his opinions on the sci-fi concepts," he added. "That was as important to us as any humor that he could add to the movie. And he was very, very gracious in doing that."
Directed by Scott Derrickson from a script by Jon Spaihts, "Doctor Strange" is coming to U.S. theaters on November 4. The superhero flick stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular sorcerer and Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One. Chiwetel Ejiofor is cast as Baron Mordo, while Mads Mikkelsen is tapped to play the villainous Kaecilius. Other cast members include Rachel McAdams, Scott Adkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Amy Landecker.
It follows Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City's Greenwich Village, he must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
