Responding to her dad's leaked conversation with Billy Bush for the first time, the 34-year-old businesswoman admits that his comments were 'inappropriate and offensive.'

AceShowbiz - Ivanka Trump has finally broken her silence on the sexist and misogynistic comments her dad Donald Trump made back in 2005. Addressing the matter for the very first time, the 34-year-old beauty admitted in a statement to Fast Company that her dad's remarks were unacceptable.
As previously reported, Donald Trump made the lewd comments about women during a chat with Billy Bush aboard an "Access Hollywood" tour bus more than a decade ago. At the time, the real-estate tycoon also bragged about trying to sleep with a married woman, who was later identified as "Entertainment Tonight" host Nancy O'Dell.
The conversation was secretly recorded and recently made its way out online via The Washington Post. Following the leak, multiple women came forward to accuse Donald of inappropriately treating them in the past.
In response, Ivanka said that her dad's comments "were clearly inappropriate and offensive." She continued, "And I'm glad that he acknowledged this fact with an immediate apology to my family and the American people."
"I mean, it's been a year and a half of enormous scrutiny, of my family, every business, every movement, action," she explained. "I've probably grown a bit tougher in terms of my resilience toward what is thrown our way because, you know, I've read some very negative stuff."
Asked what she thought about claims that her father sexually harassed numerous women, Ivanka shared, "The greatest comfort I have is the fact that I know my father. Most of the people who write about him don't. I do." She went on saying that because she knows him, she is able "to shrug off the things that I read about him that are wrong."
Ivanka's statement came around the same time Donald's wife Melania Trump sat down with CNN and Fox News to defend her husband and blame Bush for the Republican nominee's controversial comments.
"I was surprised, because that is not the man that I know," she told CNN's Anderson Cooper about Trump. "They were kind of a boy talk, and he was [led] on, like egg[ed] on, by the host to say dirty and bad stuff."
To Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt, she said Trump had "apologized to me, and I accept his apology, and we are moving on." She added, "As a successful businessman, entrepreneur, entertainer, to achieving so much in his life, being in so many shows, so many tapes, it's very hard to run for public office."
