The 'Inside Amy Schumer' star defends herself and sends 'all love' to Tampa following the walk-out at her weekend comedy show.

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer spoke out after hundreds of people abandoned her show in Tampa, Florida on October 16 when she blasted Donald Trump during her weekend set at the Amalie Arena. She was unapologetic for taking a dig at the GOP presidential nominee.

"I want to thank the 8,400 people who stayed. We have always depended on comedians to make us laugh and tell the truth. I am proud to continue that tradition," the comedienne said in a statement. She added on Twitter after the Sunday show, "All love Tampa."

According to online reports, Schumer invited a Republican on stage to defend Trump. "Do you get worried at all with how impulsive he is, that he gets so fired up from 'Saturday Night Live' doing a skit on him?" she asked. "Do you worry he'll be impulsive and get us in a lot of f***ing trouble we can't get out of?"

The "Trainwreck" actress who has always been vocal about her support for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton also called Trump an "orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster."

As the actress started getting political, people began booing her and walking out. She reportedly responded by encouraging security to show the hecklers the door. "Of course, we're in Florida, you're going to boo," she said. "I know you're here to laugh, but you choose how you're going to live your life, and it's just too important. So we're going to spend five minutes talking about it."
