Frankel shared on Instagram the throwback picture of her surrounded by some girls, including Berry, when they were competing in a beauty pageant around three decades ago.

AceShowbiz - Bethenny Frankel just won #TBT with this epic picture of her and Halle Berry. The reality TV star took to Instagram on Thursday, October 13 to post the photo taken in 1980s when they were competing in a beauty pageant.
"Hi @halleberry #missteenlongisland #tbt," Frankel wrote alongside the snap showing her in a white gown while surrounded by the other contestants, including Berry who sported a golden dress, a tiara and a Miss Teen All American sash. The Skinnygirl founder didn't seem like she won anything in the competition, but she still smiled at the camera.
Berry competed in a number of beauty pageants in her teen and early 20s. She won Miss Teen All American in 1985 and Miss Ohio USA in 1986. She was the first runner-up in the 1986 Miss USA. That year, she also made history as she became the first African-American woman competing for the Miss World title.
However, the achievements didn't make it easier for her when she chose to pursue a career in acting. "I came from the world of beauty pageants and modeling and right away when people heard that, I got discounted as an actor," she said in a recent interview with W magazine.
"So, I had the job of trying to eliminate that part of my persona. And I took on roles early on that really didn't rely on my physical self at all, and that was a good way to sort of get some credibility within my industry," she explained.
As for Frankel, her beauty queen days apparently ended after getting defeated by Berry. She is now best known for being a star on Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City" and a founder of Skinnygirl cocktails.
