Will Arnett will executive produce the revival via his Electric Avenue Productions, along with Den of Thieves and Principato Young Entertainment.

Every episode will feature non-traditionally talented performers plucked from the internet and put in front of a revolving panel of Hollywood judges. Arnett will not host the show.

"The comedy culture we are living in has finally caught up to 'The Gong Show', so the timing is perfect," added Holly Jacobs, executive vice president of reality and syndication programming for Sony Pictures television. "We've just found the right partners to bring back this iconic original."

The original "Gong Show" was hosted by Chuck Barris and aired on NBC from 1976-1978, before it became a hit on syndication. The show ended its run in 1989.
