The 'Famous' hitmaker paused his performance at the Meadows Festival in Queens on Sunday, October 2 to tell the audience that he had to leave early due to family emergency.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West cited family emergency when he decided to end his performance at the Meadows Festival in Queens on Sunday, October 2 early. The 39-year-old rapper cut short his song "Heartless" to announce the news to the crowd.

Kanye had gone on stage at 8:45 P.M. He was initially scheduled to perform until 10 P.M., but ended his set at 9:40. The husband of Kim Kardashian performed "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1", "Famous" and an abbreviated set of his recent featured verses, including Drake's "Pop Style", ScHoolboy Q's "That Part", "Mercy", Chief Keef's "Don't Like" and his own "All Day".

"Wolves" was the last full song he got through, before his brief performance of "Heartless".

The Meadows NYC wrote on Twitter, "Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely."

Earlier in the day, Chance The Rapper shared a photo of him and Kanye at the music festival.

It's unknown what happened to Kanye's family. His wife Kim as well as her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner are currently in Paris for fashion week. Earlier in the day, Kim was fine when she congratulated Blac Chyna on her baby shower via FaceTime.
