The 'Eat Pray Love' actress is going to play a PTA president who got framed by angry parents in Orange County, California.

AceShowbiz - Julia Roberts is going to play a real-life character in "Framed". The "Mirror Mirror" actress is set to play Kelli Peters, a PTA mother who was framed for drug possession. The movie is based on her book " 'I'll Get You!' Drugs, Lies, and the Terrorizing of a PTA Mom."

Peters is a PTA president and volunteer at her daughter's elementary school in Orange County, California. Her reputation was destroyed after drugs were planted in her car by angry parents who claimed their son was locked outside the school while under her care.

Julia Roberts is no stranger to playing real-life women. She played environmental activist Erin Brockovich in a 2000 biopic that earned her an Oscar. She also portrayed author Elizabeth Gilbert in Ryan Murphy's 2010 "Eat Pray Love".
