The 'Ghost' actress, who has been a moderator on the daytime talk show, hints that this could be her last season on 'The View'.

AceShowbiz - Whoopi Goldberg is ready to leave "The View" after almost ten years. Appearing on "The Wendy Williams Show" on Friday, September 23, The longtime moderator on the ABC talk show has hinted that the recently debuted 20th season could be the last for her.

"No, probably not," the actress told Wendy Williams when asked if she would return after season 20. "I have to do it, baby, because I have to go and grow. I've got stuff to do. I've got movies I need to direct, I got books I gotta finish."

"This was great, and I love doing it, but you know, it's been a while," she added of her time on the daytime talk show. The "Sister Act" star believes that the show will survive without her, saying, "They're in their 20th season, they did this without me. I've been here for half of it, but not all of it."

She further told fans not to worry, because "I'm not gone yet, so I'm still there now."

Goldberg joined "The View" in 2007 and has remained on the panel despite shakeups in the past few years. The 20th season, which premiered September 6, features Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Jedediah Bila as new co-hosts, joining Goldberg, Raven-Symone, Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris.
