Karen Gillan on 'Her Child Sized Clothes' in 'Jumanji': 'YES There Is a Reason!'

The Scottish actress took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 21 to defend her 'child sized clothes' in the continuation of the 1995 original pic, saying, 'The payoff is worth it, I promise!'

AceShowbiz - Karen Gillan has responded to fans' criticism about her revealing attire in Sony's "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle". The Scottish actress as well as her co-star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 21 to defend her "child sized clothes" shown in recent picture taken from the Hawaii set.

"Jumanji! Yes I'm wearing child sized clothes and YES there is a reason!" wrote the 28-year-old actress. "The payoff is worth it, I promise! #Jumanji." The Rock also pointed out that the costumes they wore in the continuation of the 1995 original pic would all "make fun sense soon."

Also starring Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Nick Jonas, the movie is coming to U.S theaters on July 28, 2017. The new "Jumanji" film is directed by "Bad Teacher" helmer Jake Kasdan from a script provided by Scott Rosenberg ("Gone in 60 Seconds") and Jeff Pinkner ("The Amazing Spider-Man 2", "The Dark Tower").

Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers pen the original draft based on Chris Van Allsburg's Caldecott Medal-winning adventure book. Matt Tolmach and William Teitler serve as producers. Kasdan also executive produces the upcoming film along with Van Allsburg, Johnson, David Householter, Ted Field, Mike Weber and Dany Garcia.
