Directed by Dean Israelite from a screenplay written by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, the upcoming action movie will arrive in U.S. theaters on March 24, 2017. Hader joins the likes of Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Dacre Montgomery, Ludi Lin and Becky G who are already on board to portray the five Mighty Morphin "Power Rangers". Bryan Cranston and Elizabeth Banks are set to play the wise Zordon and the villainous alien witch Rita Repulsa respectively.

The film follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, the heroes discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet, but to do so they have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Alpha 5 is best known for his excited "Aye-yi-yi" phrase that signals its distress or joy. On the original tv series, he worked alongside Zordon as a cute robotic companion and was very close to each of the Power Rangers.

Meanwhile, Bill is no stranger to voice acting. He provided the voices of Flint Lockwood in "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" animated movie series as well as Fear in "Inside Out (2015)".
