'American Horror Story' 6.03 Promo: Turn Off the Cameras!
TV

Matt reveals his mind starts to play tricks when he enters the woods, while Lee urges the documentary crew member to turn off the cameras.

AceShowbiz - What's exactly in the woods? In the second episode of "American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare", Shelby witnesses a ritual performed by Kathy Bates' character, whom she ran into on the road and followed into the woods.

[SPOILER ALERT!] While Shelby decides that it was the locals trying to scare her family off, strange things happening around them don't stop there. When Lee's daughter Flora visits her in the house, she begins to talk to Priscilla, an "imaginary" friend who promises to make a bonnet to help make all the blood stop. Later, a window is broken and a bonnet is thrown through it.

Towards the end of the episode, Flora is lured outside and vanishes in the woods. Apparently trying to find her, Matt enters the woods as seen in a preview for the next outing. "Walking in that forest, your mind starts to play tricks," says Andre Holland's Matt Miller. "I couldn't explain it. Even if I could, what happened next made absolutely no sense," he adds, as windows in the house break into pieces and Cuba Gooding Jr.'s Matt is startled by something he sees inside a fridge.

In a separate interview, Adina Porter's Lee details her feelings when her daughter went missing. She later warns the documentary cameraman, "You need to turn off those cameras." She says again, more like urging the crew member, "I say turn off the cameras!"

The third episode of "AHS: Roanoke" airs Wednesday, September 28 at 10 P.M. on FX.

Cuba Gooding Jr. has hinted that there's more to the ghostly story than we think we've seen on the show. He compares "Roanoke" to "The Twilight Zone" as saying, "The first season to me, if you watch those 13 episodes - it's like what 'The Twilight Zone' did with one episode. This season, remember I said that. When you see this season, you'll realize how to interpret that 'Twilight Zone' idea to an entire other level. When your head goes 'boom' and you've got brains all over the wall, you're going to be like, 'Motherf***ing Cuba Gooding Jr.' I wish I could tell you when it happens, but I can't."
