AceShowbiz - Calvin Harris has finally dropped his new single, which he teased earlier this week on his social media account with an artwork. Titled "My Way", the dance track features the Scottish DJ's own vocals. Yes, the 32-year-old sings his own song, something which he rarely does.

"Why wait to say/ At least I did it my way/ Lie awake two faced/ But in my heart I understand/ I made my move/ And it was all about you/ Now I feel so far removed," he sings, before repeating, "You were the one thing in my way" over and over.

This is the third time Harris uses his own voice in his song. He previously sang his hits "Feels So Close" and "Summer". He told iHeartRadio about using his own vocals on the song, "I like to sing on a song every two or three years, or so. I just kind of thought it was a bit of a curve ball. I kind of like the idea of just tracking something out without a celebrity guest feature, and I think the vocal works so why not."

Harris also explained the meaning behind the lyrics, "[The] song's kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then, you're way more comfortable out of it. And it could be anything. It could be a job, or it could be a relationship. I had kind of the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn't know how to work out how it sounded."

"My Way", which lyrics may start a speculation about whether or not Harris sings about his ex Taylor Swift on it, is released following his 2016 hits "This Is What You Came For" featuring Rihanna and "Hype" featuring Dizzee Rascal.

The song is available for purchase on iTunes and is streaming on Spotify.

Harris revealed "My Way" might be the last song he released this year, but he had collaborated with Big Sean for the latter's project and it might be out this year. He added, "Apart from that, that's it. One song at a time. That's my new mantra. Try to make each song as good as it can possibly be. I'm not trying to do an album. I'm just trying to do good music."
