Joe and Anthony Russo tease the inclusion of Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and 'consider' the possibility of adding Marvel's TV superheroes in the follow-up to 'Captain America: Civil War'.

AceShowbiz - Up until now, it's still unclear how many Marvel's superheroes are going to team up in "Avengers: Infinity War". The pack could grow bigger as filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo tease the inclusion of Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and "consider" the possibility of adding Marvel's TV superheroes in the follow-up to "Captain America: Civil War".

"It's an incredible piece of casting," Joe says of the Oscar-winning actress. "You couldn't ask for better. Not only is she an amazingly talented actor but she's a wonderful human being. We're really looking forward to the opportunity of re-teaming with her if we were to get the chance to work with that character," he tells Toronto Sun.

They also talk about the possibility of getting some of Netflix's superheroes such as Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Daredevil and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to cross over into film. "We do consider everyone," says Anthony. "We don't want to get too specific about what's going to happen with these movies. We want these movies to be a surprise for audiences."

He shares that their favorite "story adage" will come into play in "Infinity War". "There's a storytelling adage that Joe and I love, which is write yourself into a corner," Anthony adds. "If you put yourself in a very difficult place as a storyteller... that becomes where a lot of the excitement and surprise and spontaneity comes from."

Production on the third installment of "The Avengers" film series is expected to begin in November for a May 4, 2018 release in U.S. theaters. Plot details are still kept under wraps, but it is expected to mark the next phase in the MCU following the aftermath of "Civil War". The Guardians of the Galaxy, including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel, will join the big ensemble.
