AceShowbiz - Lupita Nyong'o says she hasn't shot her scenes in "Star Wars Episode VIII". While promoting her new movie "Queen of Katwe", the 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress reveals that she is still waiting to film her part despite the fact that director Rian Johnson already wrapped up production back in late July.

When asked by Steve Weintraub of Collider about what it's like working with the helmer, the Maz Kanata depicter replies, "Rian! I haven't worked with him yet. I've yet to shoot. That's in my future." Therefore, fans are now wondering who was doing the motion capture of the over-1000-year-old humanoid alien back in April as teased in an Instagram post by the helmer.

Slated for a December 15, 2017 release in U.S. theaters, the eighth installment of the "Star Wars" movie franchise centers on the story of Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Leia (Carrie Fisher) and other characters as they fight back the force of the First Order.

The sequel to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" also sees the return of Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis who reprise their roles as Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, General Hux and Supreme Leader Snoke. New additions to the cast members include Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
