AceShowbiz - Anne Hathaway is interested in returning to the DC universe for a "Catwoman" spin-off. Speaking to Variety at the Toronto International Film Fest, the Mirana of "Alice Through the Looking Glass" admits that she would love to don the cat suit again, saying, "I love the DC universe and it would be fun to take a trip back."

Asked if she would be opposed to reprising her role from 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises" as the femme fatal Selina Kyle, the 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress answers, "Of course not." She explains that she "loved that character" and "had such a blast playing her."

Despite her interest, she thinks that it may be difficult to do such a project as the "Batman" film franchise has already moved on to a new iteration. "I think the Chris Nolan chapter of the Batman story has been wrapped up and I'm part of that," she says. "But I love the DC universe and it would be fun to take a trip back."

When asked if she feels possessive of the famous cat burglar, she replies, "I don't think you can." She explains that it sort of goes with the territory when "you accept it and receive it from the last Catwoman." She adds, "I was shown such generosity from [Halle Berry] and from [Michelle Pfeiffer], and so I would do that the next time as well."
