Amber Heard has withdrawn her lawsuit accusing Doug Stanhope of smear campaign after he called her a liar in a scathing letter.

AceShowbiz - Amber Heard is no longer suing Johnny Depp's pal Doug Stanhope. The 30-year-old actress has dropped her defamation lawsuit against Stanhope after originally accusing him of smear campaign. "Amber is moving on, getting back to work and leading a normal, happy life," her camp told TMZ.

In his scathing letter to defend Depp, Stanhope called Heard a liar for fabricating the abuse story. Stanhope claimed Heard had manipulated and blackmail Depp. "We have watched Amber Heard f**k with him at his weakest - or watched him at his weakest from being f**ked with - for the entire time we've known him," he said.

Stanhope is not the one defending Depp. The actor's ex Vanessa Paradis and daughter Lily-Rose Depp are on his team as well. Fellow stars like Paul Bettany, Benicio Del Toro and Marilyn Manson also showed their support.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have since settled their messy divorce battle, but they are still bitter with each other. Depp recently riled Heard after he directly donated her settlement money to charities. Although it was her plan to use the money to help those in need, she believed the actor only sent the money himself to get a charitable tax deduction.
