'I would stand by him on anything,' says the rock star when weighing in on the drama surrounding his longtime pal Depp's divorce from Heard.

AceShowbiz - Marilyn Manson is the latest star weighing in on the drama surrounding his pal Johnny Depp's divorce from Amber Heard. Speaking with The Daily Beast, the rocker said his longtime friend was "completely crucified - unjustly" by his ex during the divorce proceeding.

Manson first noted that he and Depp are very close friends. "Lily-Rose is my goddaughter and I was there when Jack was born, so we go back," he said, referring to Depp's 17-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son whom he welcomed with ex Vanessa Paradis.

"Johnny is one of the nicest people that I know - to the extent where it's almost heartbreaking how kind he is to his friends, and everyone around him. I know that he was completely crucified - unjustly," he continued, adding that he "would stand by him on anything."

"As my friend, I know that he's handling it the best he can and he's a great dad too. It fills me with joy to see his kids grow up and be so smart, and so hilarious. We played a show together not too long ago," he shared.

Of what he thought of Heard's accusation that Depp physically and verbally abused her throughout their four-year relationship, Manson said, "It's hard to say when you talk about your friends. Of course I think that all of it was bulls**t, and I think that he is a great person. I wouldn't agree with any of it if someone were to put me on the stand and ask me what I know, or what I've witnessed."

After three months of abuse allegations, Heard and Depp officially ended their marriage a few weeks ago. The actress received $7 million from Depp in divorce settlement, but she's donating the money to charity.
