AceShowbiz - Young Thug has become a trending topic on Twitter, but not for a good reason. A few hours before the midnight release of his new mixtape "No, My Name Is Jeffery", he unveiled the project's cover and people have been poking fun at it.
The said cover art features the rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, in a frilly lavender dress, hiding his face behind a conical hat. His eccentric outfits are not news to his fans, but nothing was as bold as the cover art which was shot by Garfield Larmond.
One Twitter user says the 25-year-old in the image looks like someone who is "about to engage in the meanest samurai fight." Some others photoshop the cover art and depict Thug as a video game character.

Some people, however, defend Thug. "If you love Prince and James Brown, how can you hate on Thug?" one tweep posts. Another fan points out, "Ppl who are SO against Young Thug's outfit for his album cover forget that some rappers were also wearing extravagant outfits in the 80s/90s."
