AceShowbiz - Here are some of the pro dancers who will be participating in upcoming season 23 of "Dancing with the Stars". Valentin Chmerkovskiy appeared on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, August 23 to break the first official casting news for the next installment of the dancing competition show.

Val was not allowed to reveal the entire lineup, but he said that in addition to himself, Witney Carson, Artem Chigvintsev, Sharna Burgess, Lindsay Arnold, Sasha Farber and Gleb Savchenko are set to return. Allison Holker, who was sitting out last season to give birth to her first child together with husband Stephen "tWitch" Boss, is returning as well.

"It's going to be amazing. We're going to have an incredible cast, as always," Chmerkovskiy gushed about the cast. "But I'm also excited for the pros. We have a lot of different pros coming back. Some pros from back, back in the day, so I'm excited."

Peta Murgatroyd, who took home the Mirrorball trophy with Nyle DiMarco last season, is definitely not returning this season as she's currently pregnant with her and fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy's first child. Kym Johnson has also announced she's retiring as a "DWTS" pro.

"I love the show and I love to still be part of it but, you know, I still want to hang up my dance shoes and what a way to end," Kym told Entertainment Tonight on Monday.

The full lineup of "DTWS" season 23 will be announced August 30 on "GMA". Amber Rose, "The Bachelorette" star JoJo Fletcher and former "Wizards of Waverly Place" actor Jake T. Austin are some of the celebrities rumored to compete on the show. The dancing competition is scheduled to kick off the new season Monday, September 12 at 8 P.M. on ABC.
