AceShowbiz - Is Teresa Giudice joining "Dancing with the Stars" season 23? Rumor has swirled around that the Bravo reality TV star is interested in doing the ABC show, as she hopes that she will get a big paycheck that would help fix her financial issues.
A source tells In Touch Weekly that the 44-year-old "is scrambling for cash" after she was released from jail for fraud, "so a 'Dancing with the Stars' gig - and the paycheck that comes with it - would be a huge help." As reported by the magazine, Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice still owe $551,563 in taxes.
E! News, however, has denied that the star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" will be joining the dancing competition series. She hasn't even been approached for the 23rd season, though the producers eyed her for season 22.
Her attorney says, " 'Dancing with the Stars' approached Teresa about doing the season that aired in March but unfortunately with Teresa having just come home and with Joe Giudice going away in March, we had to decline the offer. We have not had any discussions with 'Dancing with the Stars' since that time and as such any story linking Teresa to the upcoming season are untrue. Teresa remains a fan of the show and if the timing is right and both sides are interested, I could absolutely see her doing the show at some time down the road."
Meanwhile, some names reportedly eyed to join the show include Olympic medalist and gymnast Simone Biles, "The Bachelorette" star JoJo Fletcher as well as "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum Jake T. Austin.
