The 'Jack Reacher: Never Go Back' actor reportedly has a dispute with Paramount regarding his payday.

AceShowbiz - "Mission: Impossible 6" is reportedly facing a new roadblock. After getting delayed over script issues, now the pre-production is halted due to an alleged dispute between Tom Cruise and Paramount over his salary.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor and the studio didn't see eye to eye regarding his back-end profit participation. The star is allegedly looking to match or exceed his deal with Universal for "The Mummy" remake.

The "Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation" was originally planned to kick off production in November, but the start date is now pushed to early next year. Christopher McQuarrie is back at the helm and will also help with the script.

Tom Cruise known for doing his own dangerous stunts will soon be seen in "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back". Last year, he earned an estimated $25 million for "Rogue Nation" which went on to gross more than $680 million worldwide.
