AceShowbiz - Two DC Comics' female superheroes met on the set of "Supergirl" season 2. Lynda Carter, who played Wonder Woman on the 1970s TV series, has hit the set of The CW's series and posed for a snap with Melissa Benoist, who plays the title character on the current show.

Benoist later took to Instagram to share the black-and-white image of her and Carter, who will play the President of the United States on "Supergirl". She captioned it, "Met a wonderful woman today @reallyndacarter."

Carter will appear in multiple episodes and will make her debut in the third episode of the second season. Other guest stars tapped for the upcoming installment include Tyler Hoechlin as Superman, Katie McGrath as Lex Luthor's sister Lena Luthor, and Ian Gomez's as Kara's new boss.

The new season kicks off Monday, October 10 at 8 P.M. on The CW.
