The popular 1990s boyband is set to guest star in the upcoming installment of the Netflix series.

AceShowbiz - New Kids on the Block is in the house. The popular boyband, who enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, is set to guest star in the upcoming season 2 of Netflix's "Fuller House", which is currently filmed for a 2017 premiere.
The members, minus Donnie Wahlberg, visited the set on Thursday, August 18 as seen in a picture posted on Jordan Knight's Instagram page. Knight posed with fellow bandmates Danny Wood, Joey McIntyre and Jonathan Knight in the photo which he captioned with "Let's go!! #hangintougher on #fullerhouse !! #nkotb #netflix." He also shared a picture of his dressing room door. He gushed in the caption, "This is just too exciting!!!"
Meanwhile, the lead stars of the series, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and Candace Cameron Bure, posed in their NKOTB fan shirts. It's unclear how the show will incorporate NKOTB into the storyline. Back in February, Bure admitted that the band was the guest stars that got away during the original run of "Full House". "We never got New Kids on the Block," she said. Barber added, "We really want New Kids on the Block though. We'll put our vote for that."
Also set to guest star in the second season of the "Full House" spin-off is Alan Thicke, who will play a character whom D.J. sets up with one of her friends.
