The 'Famous' rapper is set to open 21 temporary stores around the globe this weekend to sell his 'Life of Pablo' merchandise.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West is bringing his fashion line to a city near you. The rapper has announced 21 temporary shops to open around the globe this weekend. Each shop offering "The Life of Pablo" merchandise will open for three days only from Friday to Sunday.

The pop-up stores are located in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Portland, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Sydney, Melbourne, Cape Town and Singapore.

Each city will have its own customized t-shirts and hoodies with the names of the cities spelled out in Cali Thornhill DeWitt's gothic script, a signature from Kanye's collection which was revealed at the Madison Square Garden this February.

The pop-up store is not Kanye's only project. He is also scheduled to showcase his new collection on September 7, the first day of the upcoming New York Fashion Week. While the venue is still kept secret, the date is close to his 2-day tour stops at the MSG.

Kanye West first revived pop-up store, which became trend in early 2000s, back in 2011. He and Jay-Z opened a temporary store in New York to hype up their duet album "Watch the Throne". Kanye opened another one in the Big Apple in 2013 to coincide with his "Yeezus" tour. Other musicians like Justin Bieber, Zayn Malik and Drake have since followed his footsteps, but he is still one step ahead of them by bringing the idea to the world stage.
