AceShowbiz - Ariel Winter isn't here for her body shamers. The 18-year-old actress, who has several times been criticized for her wardrobe choice, shared a message to people unhappy with her risque Instagram photos as she spoke to Entertainment Tonight during an event on Tuesday night, August 16.
"Everybody is so hyped up on the fact that I post photos where my butt's out. It's a butt. Everyone has a butt. I don't think it's crazy," the "Modern Family" star told the publication at Variety's Power of Young Hollywood Issue Celebration.
"It's like, 'Let me live! I'm enjoying my life, you're enjoying your life, you should be posting your butt if you like it, too!' " she continued and revealed that she doesn't really have a social media strategy, "I don't really think I'm telling myself, 'You should post this, you shouldn't post that,' I feel like I'm just having fun. I like my fans to see what I'm doing."
Winter frequently shares on Instagram pictures of her sporting tiny outfits that accentuate her curves and sometimes put her ample assets on display. On Wednesday, she posted a snap of her posing in a cleavage-baring black crop top at the Variety event. Previously, she flaunted her body in a green cut-out swimsuit in some other photos taken at another party held over the weekend.
In addition to criticism, Winter's revealing Instagram photos have earned praise from fans who think she's promoting positive body image.
