The latest promo for the FX horror anthology series shows a monster who is following a woman climbing a staircase.

AceShowbiz - FX has dropped another creepy teaser for "American Horror Story" season 6 and after watching it you may never feel safe on stairs anymore. The new promo features a woman in a vintage robe climbing a staircase while holding a candle.
A shadow of what looks like a monster is following her in the dark and later pulls on her braid. The video was posted on the show's official Facebook page, but has been deleted. A poster featuring a similar scene has been released as well with a caption that reminds us to beware of something "behind you..."
A day before, two other promos also landed online, one of which showed an ominous creature crawling on a railway. But as FX CEO John Landgraf recently said, not all of the teasers gave the right clues about season 6's theme.
"Every year, we've basically laid out the themes, the new genre that Ryan's going to be approaching, and we just thought [this year] it'd be really fun to keep it a mystery," he said at the TCA summer press tour. So they made some promos, "and a lot of them are accurate. The others are all misdirects," Landgraf added.
The new season will premiere September 14 at 10 P.M. ET on FX. Lady GaGa, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson are the only stars confirmed to return, while other details are still kept under wraps.
